Online entry forms and payment

We are trialing online entry submissions using Google forms. Please click here to open the form in a new browser tab. Full instructions for online entries are included in the form and are summarised below.

  • All online entries should be made by 10PM on Wednesday 2nd September.
  • One form to be completed for each entrant
  • Entrance fee: 50p per entry for classes 2- 90. Children’s classes (91-100) are free.
  • Please note that your online entry will only be completed on payment. If you are only submitting entries in children’s classes you will receive an email confirming receipt of your entry.
  • Following submission of your online entry form a secure payment link will be shared via email for any entry fees due. From 22 August - Tuesday 1 September this will be sent out before 9AM on the following day. For any entries submitted before this period payment links will be sent on 22 August. On Wednesday 2 September payment links will be sent out after entries close at 10PM. All payments for online entries should be made by 9AM on Thursday 3rd September. Once payment has been made you will receive a receipt of payment confirming your entry.
  • Late entries cannot be made online. Please refer to the show schedule and see below for further details.
  • Entrants can pick up their paper entry cards as normal from a committee member at the village hall during staging between 0800-1015 on Sunday 6th September.

    Entry criteria

    As in 2025, entries are welcome from those who meet one (or more) of the following criteria:

    • be Resident in the Parish of Old Basing & Lychpit, or
    • be in permanent education or employment in the Parish of Old Basing & Lychpit, or
    • have a parent, partner’s parent or grandparent resident or working in the Parish of Old Basing & Lychpit
    • have an allotment in Old Basing

    Entry Deadlines

    Here is a summary of the deadlines. Full details can be found in the Show Schedule

    • Class 1 Entries must be submitted via email no later than 10.00pm on Wednesday 2nd September 2026.
    • All other classes Either online as described above, or All Entry Forms, plus fees, to be delivered to the Show Secretary or any Committee Member by 10.00pm on Wednesday 2nd September.
    • Clase 85 Entries will be judged by the Basinga and an electronic copy also needs to be submitted to: editor@basinga.org.uk by 10.00pm on Wednesday, 2 September 2026.
    • Late entries Late entry forms with fees to be delivered to 10 PaddockFields no later than 10.00pm on Friday 4th September 2026. NOTE: Late entries are not permitted in classes 1 and 85.

    Show Day - key times

    • The Village Hall is open at 8.00am for exhibitors to stage their entries.
    • The Hall closes to exhibitors at 10.15am and judging commences. Only judges, stewards and committee members are allowed in the Hall during judging.
    • The Hall opens to the public at 2.30pm.
    • Prize giving starts at 4.00pm.
